| Five 5 Five Heroes At Southeast School At Southeast School, our school theme is Heroes. All year long we are studying who heroes are, how they act,and how we can be like heroes in our own lives. We had an amazing artist, Mr. Rob Surette come to our school to tell us about different heroes from the past. As he talked, he painted five pictures of five different heroes. The pictures here look small but each one is 4 feet high and 3 feet wide. We had to lay them flat on the gym floor and stand on a tall step ladder to take this picture. Can you tell who these heroes are? One is a President, one is a civil rights leader, one is a famous scientist, one is a religious leader, and one is a famous composer. Can you email your answers to our Technology Coordinator - Steve Sokoloski, stevesoko@mansfieldct.org? One of the classes at Southeast School will email your teacher back to tell you if you are correct. If you want to find out more about Rob Surette, look here: http://www.amazingheroart.com/index.html | |

He is 100 feet tall and his circumference is 20 feet so we thought you might want to use him for your 20 or 100 counting book page. Herbie is pictured here with our teacher, Mrs. Spencer, to give you an idea of just how big he is.
