To celebrate the 100th day of second grade at Yarmouth Elementary School in Yarmouth, Maine, Mrs. Spencer and Mrs. Gautreau’s classes joined forces for a community service project. The goal was to collect at least 100 cans of food for a local food pantry. The children exceeded their goal by 16. How many cans did the children collect?

We celebrated by making a necklace with 90 Cheerios + 10 beads. We also went on a 100-Teddy Bear hunt around the school & ended with a fun snack. Children made a 100-link friendship chain with a sentence or kind word/phrase on each link about friendship. We made 100-day goggles & a "100 Things" poster. VintonKinders (Mansfield, CT)

Kindergarten Tales Kids (Illinois, USA) celebrated 100 Days in School, on February 7, 2008 by bringing in 100 treats to create a huge snack to share, sort, count and of course EAT. Read about our day and see our on-line videos at our blog: Kindergarten Tales, 100th Day of School. We had so much fun!

Mrs. Cassidy's Class celebrated the 100th day of school on February 7th, too. Watch our video to see some of the things we did that day. This video was filmed by Brendan and narrated by Duncan.

Ms. Bratt's Class:
day
Day 100 at our school was on February 11th. We had an indoor Beach Party, even though we live in the very ccccold Northeast! Everyone in our class wore a bathing suit, even the teachers! And everyone brought 100 items small enough to fit in a baggie. We played with sand in a sand table, we painted lovely pictures, we zoomed around the school on ride-on toys, and we whooshed down a mini slide right in the classroom! What a day to remember! --Bratt Pack
